childhood story

I was born in a small town called Loma Bonita (Beautiful Hill), which is not a hill and it is not that beautiful. One day, I was walking to school with my brother and sister when suddenly out of nowhere, this little piglet started following us. We thought it was very funny but then he kept following us. At this time, we tried to scare him away but to no avail. As we continued walking to school, the piglet insisted on following our trail. We had to walk daily over 25 minutes to go to school. This piglet made it almost all the way. When we were walking by my aunt’s house, she stopped and asked us where we got this pig. We explained that it had followed us here. She told us she would keep it and feed it until the owner claimed it. Time went by and the piglet grew and had piglets of its own. My aunt proposed to me that I could keep four of the piglets and she would keep three and the mama pig. I then sold my piglets to a couple of guys known as the Ardilla (squirrel) Brothers. With the money they paid me, I decided to buy a bicycle. This happened to be the first bicycle in town. I even had to go to the next town over to purchase it! I didn’t know how to ride a bike but I could ride a horse. So the next few weeks I spent trying to tame this new vehicle. From then on every time we went outside of town, we got to ride my bike, which made everyone else envious.
